Your opinion has been duly noted as you've repeated your position many times. No one is disregarding it ... we just don't agree with it and I suspect most are on our side.

Fine way to avoid an intelligent response.

I think both sides of this issue have been pursued quite in depth...really it's getting a little redundant (about 10 pages ago) ...

That is true. One of the opinion sets is going to be the correct one. Intelligent responses? Sure if you just disregard FL law and basic human rights.

I wonder if any of you know that the video system at that theater is motion activated. That means the recorder does not start until motion is detected. It is not real time. There is a delay between the event, the detection and the recording. Many motion activated security cameras have a delay time of between 5 to 6 seconds. The sensor light may detect a moving object immediately but that does not mean the camera is recording. If the delay is longer than necessary it means that the camera will miss the start of activity or miss the activity at all such as the case with moving bodies. A good motion detector CCTV should have very minimal delay or no delay at all.

This little fact of life may make the surveillance video useless in court.

Your intelligent responses as well as Reeves seem to ignore human decency and civility. As Irishii49 said, round and round we go ...

I think Mr. Oulson was the first one to ignore human decency and civility in this matter.

If Reeves had any decency and civility, he would have not gone to management in the first place about texting when he himself was doing the same. Lots of folks break Florida law by texting and driving or speeding, but I'll bet you don't call the police and report them. Maybe you like to drive fast yourself ... the civil and decent thing to do would have been to ignore Oulson's texting BEFORE the actual movie OR MOVE YOUR SEAT.
