I live in CT and have been trying to transfer to fl to be closer to family. I am being considered for a job
in Mango on MLK. I am a woman in my 50's who will be moving with my mom, so safety is a concern.
I don't need to live in Mango, but I would like a commute that is 15-25 minutes tops.
Would I be able to rent an apartment,2/2, for approx $1000 in a nice, safe area within that commuting
time, or is that not doable.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Plenty in that range in Brandon, which is just south of Mango. Relatively good area and a quick commute depending on where you need to go in Mango.

Understand that Mango isn't really a town, it's more of an unincorporated area. A good part of it is rural, so you probably wouldn't find much in the way of apartments there anyway.
