Not near me.

Seems more like a leaking pipe problem.

So, I checked in with my friends this morning. Her husband said the garage of one of the houses is unstable now and has cracks forming in the walls. He thinks the county will re-do the road, but he's not sure if the county will be repairing the driveways. I will ask him if he's heard whether it's a sinkhole or a water line break. (We just had a water line repair by our driveway, and I do know these can cause damage that looks similar to sinkholes.)

Witnesses say they saw the ground drop and then a cloud of dust and dirt.

"Out of nowhere the earth just went straight up in the air," said neighbor Margaret Helmick. "It exploded up in the air."

Never heard of an exploding sink hole.

A old bomb from WW2. There were a few old dumping and testing sites in that area years ago.

Guess you can get the army to pay for it. I was joking about the bomb.
