As a Mexican American, I have the right to live any where in U.S where I want. And about the race issue its because I know anthropology, stuff :P anything else you want know??
I've only ever met maybe 1 or 2 Mexicans here.

I'm under the impression that most of the Mexicans in the state are migrant workers or in Central FL. Compared to the rest of the country, FL doesn't have that many Mexicans at all. Oh, and the Hispanics here often tend to have a very low opinion of Mexicans. Not to the point of violence or discrimination, but the sentiment is still there. Right or wrong, it's just how it is.

True but the happens with all Hispanics for example 1 of every 5 Mexican-American belive Puerto ricans that are born in the island should be deported because they aren't the American like them.

And not all Mexicans are "migrant workers" if you have told me this 20 years ago than I would believed you the vast majority work in construction and groceries store the rest hold professional jobs only the recent ones tend to work in agricultural jobs.

Mexicans are in indeed the third Hispanic population and we are a lot of them but we tend to stablish in different areas.

The vast majority of Puerto ricans are in central Florida they've took over Orlando.

Cubans are where you expected them to be southern Florida specially Miami area.

Some sources have estimated that Mexicans will surpass PRs and Cubans.

That's because 20-30 years ago Mexicans historically settled there. Plus that's a tourism area like Clearwater Tampa etc.

Don't pay it any mind. The Anglos are just ticked off because THEY'RE not allowed to discuss race or ethnicity, they're supposed to believe race is just a "social construct" and they have to bow to the duhversity gods.

I just saw a post by an Indian who is looking for a neighborhood with other Indians. If an Anglo did that, all hell would break loose. So that's why you get these responses.

I find your candor refreshing.

As an "anglo" on the outside looking in...it has always seemed to me that within the hispanic community there is a definite pecking order...in NYC Dominicans seemed to be the group looked upon by other spanish...in Florida Mexicans seemed to receive the most scorn...my two best friends growing up in NYC were a Cuban and the other from Puerto Rico...the Cuban friends family refused to even speak to my other friends family even though both girls attended the same Catholic high school...and don't even get me started on a guy I knew who was from Madrid...if anyone even referred to him as being hispanic...he went nuts and screamed at them saying he was European...(which is of course correct)
