I sent you a PM with a recommendation which I stand behind fully.

Unfortunately, I have direct experience with that route. It burns me up how these jerks who worked the system the way they did destroyed the home values in my old neighborhood.

It wasnt unique to the SH area. It was going on all over the state. I think it it was so prevalent in SH because people didnt pay that much for the houses that they have held for 20, 30, 40 years. As I said in an earlier post: When they knew the insurance company would be waving checks for $100k plus before their eyes they just couldnt resist. It turned out to be a major bonus to a lot of people. Thousands of them.

Spring Hill would get my vote. Port Richey "nice areas?" Huh. That's an oxymoron. You have Embassy Hills and Regency Park (old and run down, homes on top of each other), Jasmine Estates (a bit nicer-look at property off Grove Dr. or closer to Little Rd.), you have Timber Oaks (actually pretty decent, but older community and it's hit or miss depending on the neighborhoods within the community), and everything that is close to US 19 and west of 19 which I would avoid like the PLAGUE. That being said, focus your search in PR along the Little Rd. corridor north of Fox Hollow, south of SR 52, west of Little Rd., and east of Zimmerman Rd. Everything else is nasty.

To whom do they deal all these drugs to? Each other? A friend of mine wants pot. I told him to turn into Westport and drive around. He did it twice and then told me I was an idiot for sending him to a middle class neighborhood when he was expecting a more ghetto atmosphere. He said "I am sure the people with boats tied up behind their houses on canals arent dealing in anything". He did find a guy in a bar elsewhere though.

He could have knocked on most any door. As you know, most the hood is not on canals and is a low class hood. Driving around will do no good. Gotta hit the bricks and ask people where to buy.

The guy was being silly and trying so hard to push the fact that HE thinks west Pasco is some dream area to live.
