Starting home prices for homes on Chicago gold coast are a million plus. Lincoln park is a very nice aera. So spring hill can now way compete with the gold coast. So yes spring hill is the slums. Michael Jordan had a home on the gold coast.

You are so fos I'm 59 and my wife is 56 no tickets no accidents we had a 2010 Mazda 6 in illionis we were paying $100 a month for full coverage $500 deductable. Moved to Florida had to pay $200 a month for the same coverage through state farm they were the cheapest. And our renters insurance more than doubled for 1/2 the coverage we had in illionis. So don't tell me insurance is cheaper here. That's on top of th $500 to transfer our car here.Yea no state tax but you get f***d in other ways to make up for no state tax.

Where in the towns you mentioned above you can find a place where you can swim with manatees? Perhaps in Lake Michigan?
Lincoln park illionis is full of brownstones valued up to a million dollars each. It's one of the most desirable areas in illionis. Spring hill cannot hold a candle to Lincoln park. Like you say check your facts ,check out zillow and see what properties are going for. See if there is anything in sprin hill is worth a million dollars because Lincoln park most homes there are.

Not a proper comparison. A more suitable comparison on this side of the bay would be Belleair Beach, Tierra Verde, Snell Isle or Casey Key down in Sarasota etc..

Ryan Howard's Belleair Beach house - 23 million ( Jordan's house in Chicago was listed for 21 million)... look it up. Also, check this..

More Renderings Of Dr. Kiran Patel’s 85,000 Square Foot Florida Compound « Homes of the Rich – The Web's #1 Luxury Real Estate Blog

(almost twice the sq footage of Jordan's house..)

If you're so fixated on Chicago, why did you move to FL?

Hey I'm not fixated on Chicago I'm tired of certain people makeing Tampa to be the best thing to sliced bread. There is no way you can compare the two. Chicago is a major city Tampa not so much, but some people here think it is.

The National Football League thinks so Tampa/STP is a worthy city.....how many Super Bowls have we had with more to come?

Republican National Convention - held here in 2012 (sorry Romney). RNC must think Tampa is a worthwhile city, enough to hold it's convention here.

Chicago has been the nation's most popular political convention city, in part because of its geographic centrality. Between 1860 and 1996, Chicago hosted 14 Republican and 11 Democrat presidential nominating conventions, plus one notable Progressive Party assembly. Chicago's closest competitors for the most presidential conventions are Baltimore with 10, followed by Philadelphia's 9.

So how many did Tampa have again.

No, Spring Hill is not the Gold Coast and I never said it was. How about the numerous hoods in Chicago that I mentioned. There ain't no million dollar homes there.

Comparing a little town to Chicago is asinine.

So tell me how that makes Chicago a better place to live? How does it enhance the lives of the residents?
