I am driving down to Clear Water Beach this morning and was wondering if there are any access points that are not crowded with people away from the main beach access?

The only other way to Clearwater beach is the belleair causeway just south of the Clearwater Memorial. Honestly that route is a hit or miss and will take longer to cross though so its probably not worth it.

Clearwater Beach in the morning isn't too bad in my experience... Try going at 18:00 lol

You can check out Sand Key Park. From Clearwater Beach go south on Gulf Blvd, go over the bridge. Sand Key Park will be on your right. There is plenty of parking there. You buy a parking time chit from a machine. Nice beach.

You just have to get to Clearwater Beach early. Otherwise, forget it.

Try the north end of Clearwater Beach by heading north on Mandalay. You can access the beach at the Palm Pavillion parking lot or hang a right at Bay Esplande and park in the lot just after the tennis courts and pool.

Another option is Caladesi. You can take a ferry there from Honeymoon Island. Caladesi is the next beach north of Clearwater. You can also walk there from Clearwater Beach, but it's quite a hike!

We like Madeira Beach. Sand Key is too much walking and Clearwater is usually crowded.

Just driving across that causeway is breathtaking itself. We have went to Clearwater a ton of times over the past few years and only can remember not finding a parking spot maybe once.

We happen to love the crowds at beaches. Nothing more boring them having a beach all to yourself.

Love to be around people and having a blast. I can get quiet time sitting at my own pool.
