Hey, anyone have good recommendations for men's suits in the Tampa area? Need a nice variety, plus ties, shirts, etc.

Any suggestions appreciated....

I have found great success at Mens Warehouse, there are a few in Tampa. They are real good at matching the right suit to you, and matching shirts and ties...not pushy salesmen...but definteily want you to look your best.."they guarantee it"...LOL

Some of the more affordable places to get suits are K&G, on Hillsborough Ave. and S&K at various locations. (I don't know what's up with the initials for names)
Men's Wharehouse is great, too. And there is a more expensive suit store downtown.

The salvation army stores have lots of good suits. Many for under $5

Dillards also has a great selection of suits as well. Depending on what you are looking to spend look at their Hart, Schaffner and Marks. They make a great suit.

My husband just purchased a really nice Tux at Mens Wearhouse in Tyrone (St Pete), the staff were really nice, an older guy called Dick helped us.
Also in Nov for Homecoming, I got my son a suit for $150 and got a free one (in a different size) for my husband. Now that was a good deal - that was at S & K. Was not impressed with Sacinos.

This sounds crazy but Target has mens suits now. Pure virgin wool and sold separately for 89.95 a piece. Not a lot of variety but ok. My husband and I are clothes hounds from NY we've both sold high end men's and I find him tons of stuff in thrift stores too. Got a Valentino suit once. You won't need suits a lot here tho. My husband didn't get a suit at Target but he did get a very nice pure silk tie to go with.

If labels are important there is Nordstrom's and Neiman's at International Plaza and saks 5th at Westshore Plaza. Both near each other. In'tl P. has Macy's and Dillards too.

In addition to the previous suggestions, JoS A Bank is in the International Plaza and Brooks Brothers is in Hyde Park. BB has discount stores in Ellenton and Orlando. There's also Syms on Hillsborough Ave. There are a few tailors left, but they're harder to find than in years past.

I would recommend Syms on Hillsborough between Himes and Armenia. Great selection. Family business.
