In real estate terms, South Tampa follows the boundaries of Plant High school, basically south of Kennedy which is where the streets go from North to South so North MacDill becomes South McDill, North Howard becomes South Howard etc. There was some gerrymandering when it comes to Plant HS and its boundaries, they go from South of Kennedy to North of Euclid, but the more affluent areas that border Bayshore Blvd on the East side are also included all the way down to Gandy, I dont know what the reason for that is, there are some nice neighborhoods south of Euclid like Bayshore Beautiful and most of Ballast Point again they hug Bayshore Blvd which is probably why they stay in demand and expensive.

Yes we are, the plan is still in place. We have already had two garage sales and we're working on sprucing up the house prior to listing it early spring. And we'll be down again in February to look at some more areas around Tampa plus meet with a Realtor and a few job recruiters.

South of Kennedy. South of Gandy is still considered "South Tampa" but it's not as nice. It's also really close to the base.

I think this explains it pretty well. S. Tampa is considered an area south of Kennedy, with distinct neighborhoods just as Interbay, Ballest point, Bayshore, Westshore, Hyde Park and many more.

Everything south of Kennedy.

The "south of Kennedy, north of Gandy" comments are a generalization of the "good areas" of South Tampa.
