I have to be at TPA airport at 2PM...hoping it's not a nightmare drive there/back.
The tail is ALMOST over dale, take what i say to bank hank. The upper level energy is going away and by Sunday late it will be back to dry for many days for most of us. Most of the heavy rain to our west is being powered by the warm loop current.

But you have been saying for years that you want to be ripped apart. You should be happy, pappy.

It is so gross here in south FL. Like it's hot and VERY humid. There are lots of clouds around, but the sun is out too, random sun showers and rain, followed by sun and then rain again. No breeze, just a hot tropical moist grossness that cannot be escaped. I'm sure it's similar in Tampa? At least it's september and nicer weather arrives come October.

All the rain caused the sewage system to get backed up, and they had to release raw wastewater into the bay.

Nothing new. And as i said, these freak rain events will happen more and more due to a warming planet. We will see less rain overall, but rain events like this one and last year will increase.
