No changes coming for a while. Rain will really start to slow down after around the 20th as it always does every Sept. It was a very dry summer for most of us other than the rain we got in Aug and the from the Hurricane. June was below normal on rain and July was super dry for me anyways.

Days are getting shorter and the sun lower to the south.

Still stuck in a reverse west windflow. Our days of rain are about over unless we have a repeat of Sept 1988.

Happy Autumn. I swear I felt a tinge of coolness in that 90-degree temp today.......

No change. Just hot and dry. Another record hot summer with very little rain for most.

Man,what a beautiful day.
I just said to Mrs Roscoe Conkling " how about a nice boozy lunch at our favourite restaurant in Gulfport and then a few hours at the beach. "
" Sure " she said " but you're driving. "
Dang she gets me every time.

Seems like Fall came right on schedule at our house. A little drop in the temp (below average) and a noticeable drop in the humidity. I am sure it will go up and down for a while, as is normal, but I will be happy with the weather until the winter highs do not reach into the 70's on some days. Brrrrrrr!
