Almost every summer i get very little rain and then get 30" in 16 days like i did in the summer of 2015 and then get nothing the rest of the summer same for last summer. You have not had 5" this week. Most of the Tampa area today got much of nothing. All that super heavy rain missed our area again jan like always. 150 miles to the south saw 4 to 11" today and we got screwed again.

I knew that boil would miss us.
NO I am not a loon. If you go to the Swiftmud hydrologic data page for June 2016, you will see that Hillsborough received 12+ inches of rain. I actually got more than that, about 15 inches. This was all due to Tropical Storm Colin.

I guess you are the only one that managed to avoid Tropical Storm Colin.

As far as the rain this week, many people in Tampa Bay had already had nearly 5 inches of rain by yesterday morning.

Another deflection in the mid and upper levels 450 miles to our southwest and building up. Maybe with any luck this next chunk of upper level energy will get closer to us and give us 11" for Wends. But i am not holding out my hand man.
Yeah, I would really love to get all that and the flooding they had to deal with, that would be just so lucky for all of us.

Sure, you did --- but there's always a very small area that never seems to get any rain and all the heat.

Yup, there's always one place that manages to avoid ANY AND ALL RAIN! No matter how many tropical storms, stagnant lows, depressions, PM storms we get!

Not holding my hand out that is for sure.
