A lot of dentist will take medicaid, but most won't do a payment plan. You would have to apply for this thing called Care Credit, you have to be approved by them and you pay them....here's the website:

It's called Midtown Dental Clinic on central ave and 30th N. in St. Pete. 727-322-1828 They're ok and reasonable on non-covered services. Have never found a dentist who will take pymts unless you go thru their finance co. Regular credit app and check. You might call Gulf Coast Jewish Family services. Tel: 727-538-7150. They provide for the comunity as a whole not just Jewish folks. It will take a while but they can refer you to a group of dentists who have decided to provide low cost services to the needy or uninsured. They can also refer you to other services. Call Medicaid, 727-552-1191 EXT. 276. Ask them for a provider list. There are several other dentists but I had good experience with Midtown.

I encourage you to call JFS for a referral to the dental clinic. Even if you can't wait because the more folks who call to express a need for such a service, the more likely it will succeed and expand.

well you are more than welcome to go back to NJ, nothing is free in this world and someone in this or that state is paying for your "free" services.
