It will be a much needed middle school, but I heard it may not be built for 10 years. That still leaves East Bay at the high school though.

We are a one car family and we like it that way. The newly developing Fishhawk Ranch phase by Lake Hutto is what we chose because when it is all done my wife will be able to walk out our door and get to schools, parks, amenities and a future grocery store! That's huge. Walkability is appreciated in the big cities and to get that in a suburb is fantastic. Also the way they are integrating the nature and trails within the community is great. I see a great community developing there which just take advantage of the existing Fishhawk business and facilities (sports complex, farmer's market in Park square, etc).

Good luck with your choice!

New south county elementary school opened this year. Middle school "TT" is in the pipeline for 2016 and a K-8 in 2018. An addition to Lennard HS is scheduled for 2015 and another middle school for 2018.

These are all in the five year capital plan - not "proposed", they're funded.
