The DT area is gorgeous. Lots of people here know a lot about the area. What would you like to know?

We moved to Dunedin from Boston, and we absolutely love it. Nice, clean, walkable downtown, lots of small shops, restaurants, and small businesses. Also a 15 minute drive to Honeymoon State Park, which gives you access to pristine beach front (parts of it dog friendly).

Are you moving from out of town?

I'd be happy to share more via email if you are interested

Dunedin is quite 'artsy' there are often events going on through the year - films in the park, art markets, music events and more. It is a very dog friendly town, with many restaurants allowing your four legged family members to dine alongside (outdoors)
There is the pinellas trail running through it, a very long bike/running trail. It is right on the water, no beach to speak of but a pretty marina area. There is a nice old style street with shopping with antique shops and restaurants that is nice to stroll down.
Its not far from one of the better shopping malls in the county and a decent distance by car to the beach.
It is pretty small though, but nice if you can live near the centre. There are some lovely older homes, I recently worked with some folks who purchased a home that allegedly Al Capone used to rent in the winters! Its a glorious 1920s rambling home.

I love Dunedin. It's probably my favorite "small town" in the area. It's tucked away and for a first time visitor, it was a little surprising to me to find off of craziness of Hwy 19.

It's packed with local restaurants, bars, shops, and parks/recreation activities.

If you're into beer, they have the oldest brewery in Florida!

If the Bay Area had mass transit with a stop in Dunedin, I'd probably visit at least twice a month on the weekends for dinner and drinks.

Love Dunedin and also Safety Harbor and Gulfport. All are Old Florida small towns and all have lovely historic downtowns where they hold various festivals, art walks, farmer's markets, etc.
