Come the second or third week of may the humidity will be back. That's when the I take the screens off the windows and store them till October. Get the AC checked and serviced in March/April ready for May and those thunderstorms. You get six months of ac and six months of fresh air. Life is good! I might get my fireplace started in the house tonight! Jumped out of the hot tub today and boiled up some wild gulf shrimp from the tampa docks for lunch. Pulled pork for dinner! This area Rocks!

it was a little chilly on the tennis courts this a.m. and I can't believe I actually complained to others how chilly it was - only to be reminded how it was going to be hotter than hell in just a couple of months.....shame on me......

Shivering through my thirty-first winter in the Mid-Ohio-Valley, I can safely say that I would trade for what you have (and may in retirement).

Yes, unfortunately we get this crap every winter. This is about 10 degrees colder than I am able to enjoy. I'm looking forward to summer.

Something tells me we are going to have a huge peak of interest in people wanting to move to Florida for the weather, late Tuesday into Wednesday.

It was around 80 just, what, last weekend? The weekend before, maybe. This isn't my favorite time of year, but it's nowhere near as miserable as it was in NW Indiana. If I can sit by my pool in jeans and a tank top sipping on a cocktail, I'm a happy camper.

blizzard expected for 250-mile stretch of Northeast | TBO.com and The Tampa Tribune

Other than the lack of state income tax, one of the biggest reasons why we get so many transplants to the area......misery misery....how I'm happy not to have to deal w/ the snow anymore.
