north port well water treatment system (drywall, moving to, install)

Moving to north port and want to get a filter/treatment sytem to replace or suplament the builder supplied system. Any information is appericated.

I would at the bare minimum install a reverse osmosis system to supply a dedicated pigot at the kitchen sink (for cooking with, making coffee etc.) and connected to the ice maker.

Depending on the builder of the home, there may be very little if any installed filtration.

i want to know if a bad unkept water filtration system can cause corrosion on pipes and wiring in home. I know the drywall in usg usa grade
