Frontier has a pretty bad reputation in other parts of the country. On the bright side, Frontier is cheap but I'm guessing there's a reason for that.

It's not just Tampa...it's also Florida as a whole, including California and Texas.

We currently have DirecTV, plus FiOS phone/internet through Verizon. We will soon switch from DirecTV to Verizon FiOS for TV as well. Will get the two year contract and see how it is and how it goes. If unsatisfied, we will go back to DirecTV. We have loved our Verizon FiOS phone/internet. Never an outage and super, super fast. Don't know about customer service, as I never called them except to set up service.

I would hope that the service itself would stay the same with Frontier, as they are buying an existing system. The only question for us should be pricing once our contract runs out.

Same here, phone/internet/TV through Verizon. We had Brighthouse before and it was nowhere as close to how good Verizon is. But at least this doesn't include their Wireless service, that's what I really care about.

One would think the service would be the same with Frontier, but you never know. Pricing I'm sure will be different.

changes wont likely be noticed for a while after they take over, froniter is known for letting their systems go to waste though.. Id imagine you wont see much in the way of advancement for quite some time (luckily for FIOS customers, they are already pretty advanced now so it should buy them a few years).
