I love the cold weather we are having. about 4 years ago we had a warm winter, it was disgusting. It was 85 every day December to February. I want the weather to be be 55 degrees every day in the winter months.

that would certainly tell the tale. If u do a week of August and feel it inconsequential to daily life then the rest is easy.

I will never move to a place based on just weather, period. But I can understand those who retired weather could be their number one priority. When I retire, I would probably be part timer too .
It's because I don't feel comfortable all bundled up or having to prepare for weather each time I go outside. We also like to do outdoor activities and go out at night, and it's not fun shuffling from indoor place to indoor place due to the chilly weather.

I don't think summer's here are really that hot, so I enjoy them and beg for them.

I agree with you on the "bundling up". I remember doing the layers thing for my commute via subway and the walk between home and subway and subway and office. Seemed to be no matter how "layered" I was my toes would sting, my ears would go numb, my nose felt like it would break off if I touched it.
Getting into a cold automobile and the wait for the heat to help was an eternity.

New York City has a humid continental climate with hot summers. With temps in the mid to upper 80's in the summer. Here in FL I have an average temps of 90 from June to September. Its only a few degrees hotter here in Spring Hill than it is NYC during July and August.

Spring Hill, FL
Annual high temperature: 82.3F
Annual low temperature: 59.8F
Average temperature: 71.05F

Brooklyn NY
Annual high temperature: 61.6F
Annual low temperature: 47.3F
Average temperature: 54.45F

It's freezing out and I hate it! Bring back the heat! "Layers" are for Photoshop, not Floridians!

Sure it is, from the inside looking out. I have really nice natural light coming in! LOL

It's nice if you sit in the sun, soon as you move the wind starts and it's cold!

For me anything under 80/85 is too cold...63 has me wear many layers. I miss sandals!
