I am not jocking at all; when we lived in Miami I never had to wear "winter attire", and ever since we moved here I had to buy boots and parkas and sweaters...the wind is so cold at the beach that we don't go during these months.

Not sure when you lived down there, but it did get cold down there in the 70's and 80's. Even had snow around the area in 1977.

I was little then, but that snow didn't even hit the ground.... It was a joke...

But it was still in the 30's and burned and killed many coconut palms all the way down the state.

Regardless, I still hate the cold, and in Miami it never stays cold for THIS long...
