Moving to Brandon FL next month from CT, currently using Santander but they don't have a presence in Florida, so will need to make a change.

We're also selling off our car up here and will be buying a new one within the first week, so might use the institution we bank with to get pre-approved for a loan before we shop.

Recommend away!

I liked Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union. There might not have as many branches as Grow Financial but there was one by my house so it was ok w/ me.
I think they have one in Brandon.

Doesn't USAA require you to have been in the military?

Yes it does, I was recommending Grow. I honestly don't deal much with the back either way, direct deposit and online banking and deposits. Grow did give me a way better rate than USAA, and they have been great.
