I like to follow the lightning with one eye during football season. After my teams season is over, I began to focus on hockey again. Personally, I think baseball and hockey seasons are waaaaay too long. It was like watching a whole season of hockey once the playoffs began last year. My wife would kill me if I devoted my attention to 90+ hockey games a year while watching football as well. I am looking forward to rooting for the boys in blue. GO Bolts!

I agree. NHL, NBA, MLB are all way too long. Heck, even the PGA tour is too long, imo. NFL is just right though.

The NHL needs a better TV contract. NBC is awful. They need more exposure. People would love the game. The season is too long by at least 2 months IMO they dont need to push it out to June it should end at the end of April, I believe it used to. Same with baseball, seems they just keep trying to suck every last penny out of advertisers.
