Good tattoo artist near Dunedin (Tampa, Clearwater: 2013, dermatologist, shops)

I am new to the Dunedin area and I desperately need to have my ex girlfriend's name that I stupidly had tattooed on me years ago covered up. I'm in a new relationship and needless to say the new girl doesn't really like looking at the old one's name all the time...and neither do I. So...I wonder if anyone can recommend a tattoo artist who can do a GOOD cover up for me. I would like to stay close to the Dunedin/Clearwater area if possible but if anyone has a recommendation for a fantastic artist, I'm all ears!

There is only one shop in the Tampa Bay area that I would suggest, and that's Redletter1 in Tampa. However, there are tons of people don't know what separates a good tattoo from a bad one that will love giving their advice.

I saw one or two on Main St, Dunedin today. Don't know how good they are or aren't. All tattoos will fade and lose their sharpness in time. Look at old sailors and you will see the future.

Put a band-aide over it?

For removal of a tattoo, see a dermatologist. Here's one in Dunedin whose website advertises laser tattoo removal.

Engineman I can see tattoo shops everywhere I go. That's not what I asked. Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll have to check those shops out and take a look at those artists' work.

Jordan at Mom's tattoo is very good and highly recommended in the area. He does very good cover work and is well known around here. I have seen his work and it is very good. Take a look at his facebook page and you can decide for yourself
