Go with a reputable contracting company. That's what hubby did and he got a good job before we moved (he actually moved 2 months ahead of the family). Then, within 6 months, he got an even better job.

Mind you, he's a 20 year IT professional with mad skills... so I've been told - it's not like I understand what he does!

But I won't start sending resumés out until I know we're moving for sure. I don't want to waste anyone's time if I'm not serious about the move.

I had a question. Say I do use her address and then find a place to rent with a different address. The employer sees my cousin's address but when it comes time to get hired, we'll be living elsewhere. Eventually they'll know it's not where I live. How do you suggest the work-around for this?

I'm in the graphics field and an ex co-worker friend of mine made the move down there some years ago and used Aquent. Just wanted to know if you heard of them and have any opinion. Or an opinion of any other good reputable recruiters or headhunters you can recommend.

Thanks
I'm not sure how that would be an issue.

As a manager, I'm not going to be paying that much attention to your address unless it suddenly changes to somewhere outside the area, and even then, unless it's a small company, a manager is not going to see it anyway, as it's an HR matter.

People move all the time. I'm at a loss to see where this would be a concern. If it's that big of a deal you were living at your cousin's place until you found a place of your own. Not an issue.

As for headhunters, I know nothing about the graphics industry, as I'm in IT. Sorry.

RM
