I don't believe for one second that this was a business maneuver. This was a team owner doing what he thought was the right thing for his own conscience, for his team, for his community, for his country. This is about civil rights, not about ticket sales.

And this is about the progressiveness of the Tampa Bay region. That this area will not be left behind to the bigots. But that this area will be attracting the new generations, born into a more accepting world. God bless them.

Summed up perfectly. I know it's hard to believe (especially in Florida) but sometimes people do the right thing just because it's the right thing to do. The state might be "governed" by a cabal of hypocritical, overreaching bloodsucking neanderthals, but we're doing pretty good on a local level. Even with all it's warts, the Tampa/St. Petersburg area is the only place I'd live in this backassward state.

I can't blame Millennials for being the weakest generation ever produced in this country. Baby Boomers provided them a very confusing upbringing and that is only going to get worse for the next generation. This is what happens when you teach people that you're evil if you don't believe in evolution and you're also evil if you believe evolution applies to humans.
