Post how is new port Richey?

My family and I ( wife and 7 year old daughter ) are considering relocating to new port Richey. we currently live in Miami and absolutly are starting to hate living here. My wife and I have been living here for 21 years. the reason of relocating is for my daughter. i feel that Miami is to crowded and not safe at all for my daughter. i was wondering if anybody that lives in New port Richey can tell me alittle about the schools, people, traffic, geology, and night life. i would really appreciate your time.

I have lived in NPR all my life and have seen many changes including traffic that is a nightmare! The cost of living has gone way up, you can't get homeowners insurance west of US 19 and ALL homeowners insurance has skyrocketed, not to mention the increase in property taxes! My zipcode is 34654 which you can look in the FDLE Sex offenders list and see how bad that is. You can also look up zipcodes 34652, 34691, and 34668. The median income here is under 30k a year (check out US Census for NPR, and as for the schools, if I were you I would choose private or homeschool if you can. And for all you that will bash what I have stated and tell me to move away I will tell you that we are looking to move away from my home state as soon as we can find someone to buy our house that no one can afford to insure or pay taxes on! That being said I DO believe that NPR is MUCH better than Miami but there are still smaller towns in Florida that are nice...keep looking, you may still be able to find a little place in Florida that hasn't been destroyed.

Default Very crowded!

That area is so congested but compared to Miami you may like it.
There are alot of communites but the homes are on top of each other.
Plenty of shopping too.

If you are looking for a quieter life with more space around your home, try Charlotte County Florida. It too is on the Gulf side and the homes are very affordable compared to NPR.
