Hey everyone,I posted here before and after taking a ride to Tampa we are really excited about our move one of the areas we were in was near the citrus mall area an I believe New Tampa are these decent areas. I homeschool so thats not really a issue,we are going to rent when we first get there (2000)or less, but we are big outdoor people walking, swimming, running, etc. any other suggestions

The area you're talking about is Citrus Park, not New Tampa. New Tampa is also nice, but it is about 20 minutes east. If you're into the outdoors I think you're best off in Pinellas County. Pinellas County has all the beaches, lots of parks, good biking trails, etc. Hillsborough County does have things to do outdoors too, but it is lacking comparatively in my opinion. I'm sure some people will probably dispute that, but in Pinellas County you've got the Ream Wilson Trail, Sawgrass Lake Park, Phillipe Park, Fred Howard Park, Lake Tarpon, and plenty more. To me it would be a no brainer.

Jay nailed it.. For outdoor people Pinellas County is the best fit.

Come check out Northdale. My house is for rent. LOL. It is close to Citrus Park Mall area but has better access to the highways. Whole Foods is right down the street along with YMCA, a Tennis/Golf Club and Northdale Park with a brand new rec center. It is a good neighborhood. My house may be a bit on the bigger side. 2200SF 4BD/4BA with pool.

We also homeschool and use the large rec room for the 'school' room.
