Do you know what causes that to happen, when just previous to that it just kept on a coming?
Most times with a normal west wind flow showers die off as soon as they get close to the beach, seems the cooler land mass during the nite and morning saps them out as the water is warmer than the land mass.

When we have upper level enegery and lift like we have now, most times they plow on in and make it a few miles inland befoe they start to die off. Then later in the day everything seems to die off after around 5pm as the land mass is cooled due to the rains.

This is nothing like we see when we are in a southeast windflow when the heating of the landmass makes the air rise and cooler air from both coast rushes in under and lifts up, AKA seabreeze and makes for strong later PM t- storms that move toward the westcoast.

Sorry for being naive but I thought fall was the rainy season around here? I don't mind the short afternoon storms but it's been dreary and rainy seems like for two weeks. What gives and when will it end?
