The minimum experience requirements at the County are often pointless because the person who will actually get the job will far exceed the requirements, and that often means being older. We must not see eye to eye about the age demographics and I don't understand why. I know what I see walking in and out of the building every day, and it's not people fresh out of college.

And I didn't say it was. Please don't misquote/distort what I said.

If I had to guess I would say the median age of the people I see and work with in the County Center is probably in the 40s. My point is, especially in the technical fields like IT and engineering, there are a lot of younger people. That's not the case in places like Public Works or Legal, however.

Do understand that many of the people you see walking in and out of the building are taxpayers who have come to the CC to get permits, deal with property issues, taxes, driver's licenses/titles/registrations, etc. A great deal of the employees park inside the building. I believe I mentioned in my previous post that floors 4 through 11 are employee parking, so all of those people aren't walking in and out of the building coming/going to work.
