You can't just raise the wage to $15 for only large corporations. It has to be done on a state level and this will affect all the mom & pop stores. There are millions of privately owned stores in Florida. think about it. here is some examples.

your local florist
your local veterinarian
your local butcher shop
your local pet food store
your local Sub shop
your local thrift store
your local tattoo parlor
your local comic book store

These will be hurt the most and will likely let their employees go. The owners will run the stores on their own.

Does anyone remember years ago when Mcdonalds workers complained about wages and Mcdonalds outfitted all their restuarants with the drink robot? (the machine that selects and fills drinks) They successfully eliminated a chunk of human labor. This time around, the self-order kiosks "coincidentally" started showing up. It's the same thing, people complain about wages, the company finds a way to function with less employees. These complainers are going to dig their own hole and lose jobs, not get the ridiculous increase they are asking for.
