Nice win today. My first game attending for the season. Stopped by the Draft Room area for season ticket/package holders and it's a very nice perk. Nice views, TV monitors, and concessions. They're trying hard to reward loyalty.

Why is attendance at Tropicana Field so low? They have put up a winning team that has won a few AL East titles but they can't seem to get people in the stands. If the Rays move and build an outdoor stadium in Downtown Tampa, so you think attendance would improve?

Location isn't the problem, the team thrives on the opponents not the actual team. Red Sox, Yankees come to town it is jammed. Stadium is ok even though a bit of a circus tent type roof but the facility itself is adequate. Rays lose all their good players as soon as their contracts are up for renewal.

Location is a major problem. It has been studied several times.

Transplants live here and they don't adopt the home team - that's the other problem.
