Agreed, but they want to remain close to school and things to do. If we had a better transit/freeway system I would say sky is the limit but due to sprawl + congestion it is best (IMO) to live close to where you work/conduct business. Ybor would prob be the best option as far as the city and just take US-41 south.

Not surprising, you show a lack of common sense when it comes to dangerous neighborhoods, and like to give bad advice to others based on your misconceptions

Living "in the city" just for the sake of living "in the city" is a concept that makes no sense to me. Especially if you have to deal with crime, lack of ammenities, etc.

Sure, location and short commute time is nice, but to me it does not make up for all the negatives that go with it.

My "bad advice" can be backed by stats. Can yours?

Here's my stat.

Do a search by the number of Amscot locations there are in proximity to a specific zip code

If it's high, then dont live there

Amscot Financial

Also google street view, you can see the areas to avoid. That's my data. Real world views.

So, in other words, you can't provide reliable stats?

Who's giving out the bad advice again?

I am giving out excellent advice. You, on the other hand, consistently advocate people move into some of the worst parts of the city.

Consistently.

Ok, you want stats:

The crappy (according to me)

(note CRIME, SCHOOL and EMPLOYMENT ratings)

The good

I'm not posting every link to neighborhoods, but you can see trends. Crime and schools with D or F ratings, no reason to live there, and you can also look at demographics. Poor schools and crime have a DIRECT relationship to demographics

Please direct me to posts where I suggested anyone move to Sulphur Springs, Port Tampa, or Riverside (an area I'm not even familiar with).

Also, LOL to Carrollwood being "better" because it's on letter grade above Sulphur Springs in the crime department.

So you think Carrolwood is only SLIGHTLY better than Sulfur Springs? Really? You just lost all credibility, I mean what little you even had
