Does anyone have firsthand info (realtor maybe?) on this area and purchasing a home? The location is good, right? Homes are mainly 1950s and what issues , if any, should I look out for if purchasing? Thank you anyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Northeast Park is quite a nice area with quick access to many things... grocery stores, restaurants, and great schools to name a few. With some of the older homes, be sure and find out if a flood insurance policy is required and what the elevation of the home is. Some homes are not on or even near the water but still can have pricey policies. If you have school age children, 38th Avenue is the divide for 2 different school districts and might be something to consider as well. Have lived about 10 minutes from this area for 16 years and have loved every minute!

It's really nice in my opinion too so thanks Gotta. But there is very little available for sale or even to rent!!!! Grrrrr. If you're ten minutes away, are you north, south, Gandy and how is that? I should probably widen my search but have no idea which direction. Thanks. OK to pm me if this is not for posting.
