Be that as it may -

They admit that Reeves got up, complained to the manager about Oulson being "erratic and aggressive" and then when Reeves returns to his seat, Oulson stands up and turns around and lunges into Reeve's personal space.

How many here on this forum can honestly say in their heart they don't have reasonable doubt that Reeves was afraid he was going to be physically assaulted?

I figure that Reeves' law-enforcement training came into play here. He probably had his hand on his gun in his pocket as soon as Oulson got in his face. That was basically pounded into him for decades...

You don't wait to first get hit/shot/etc. By then, it's too late.

That part was never in question, every account of the event states that Reeves left complained to management, came back to where oulson was. I think the "lunges" part is probably debatable, the premise of personal space will also be a sticking point inside of a movie theatre.

Yet so many victims do so...it is a natural reaction...

It's not at all debatable, it's captured on CCTV camera. You see Oulson's arm go right by Reeves, grab his popcorn and chuck it at him. Instead of grabbing his popcorn, he could have punched him. Either way, he was lunging and behaving unnecessarily aggressive with an older man.

If I was in Reeve's place, I would be physically (adrenaline pumping) prepared for a fight at that moment.

Agree 100%... It's not an admission that Nicole thought her husband was acting aggressive...it is just a recounting of what Reeves told the theater manager...

What I meant was that she did not have the time to do so, based on repeated accounts regarding how fast the events transpired.

She was holding her husband back. I expect this will be shown during.the trial.

But if Reeves had time to say "I'll teach you not to through popcorn at me"...then she would have had plenty of time...

Tell that to the critics who insist Reeves reacted too quickly.
