Hello everyone....we currently live in Blacksburg VA, a beautiful, college town nestled in the mountains of southwestern VA and have called it home for the past 15 years. After many heart to heart conversations, my wife and I have decided we are ready for change and a new chapter in our lives. We have been to Florida several times visiting and decided for the professional opportunities and the overall lifestyle that this beautiful state has to offer, that we would like to make our home in the Tampa/ St. Pete area....namely the Clearwater/Largo area. We have been doing a lot of research online, but unfortunately don't know anyone in the area so if anyone has good information with regards to good job market areas/reasonable rental/good locations /low crime etc....(no kids so schools really not a factor) and could help we greatly appreciate, THANKS!

Hello- much depends on what type of work you are seeking. We have many large companies based here such as Raymond James, HSN, Jabil Circuit and Tech Data just to name a few. As like any city, there are some areas and some you might want to stay clear of. Largo has many nice areas and quick proximity to the beaches is always a plus.
