it appears that they've completely deleted the P&OC forum (Politics, Controversy). Thank goodness. It was pretty one-sided, imo.

as for weather, can't see where that thread would be "controversial"....

Welcome back. I guess my inquiry into your status was considered off-topic.

But to the subject of this thread....
Today, despite all the whining on my part, before I even learned of FA signings, I renewed my cheap nosebleeds....based mostly on the opponents coming to RayJay. Should have no problems selling tix on stubhub if needed.

That being said, sounds like DeSean Jackson is being signed by the Bucs. Overpaid most likely. But a good option along with Mike Evans......

Hopefully he'll be able to contribute. More importantly, I hope he's grown up a bit.

Yeah no spiking the ball before you get into the end zone or going backwards for 30 yards on a punt return and fumbling!

I posted this in the Cowboys thread on the football section but it felt relevant here, or to BucFan at least. Go Bucs! Surprised to hear you renewed your tickets also. Didn't you give them up entirely at one point? Or no?

This marks the end of my time as a Cowboys fan. Allow me to explain. I grew up in Tampa but was never a big Bucs fan, so as a kid I started following the Cowboys the year Parcells was hired. And I followed them to this day. Of course I became a big Romo fan, probably my favorite sports player ever. As someone who has moved around a lot the past 7 years, I never really followed teams but players. I called myself a Cowboys "fan" and watched most games and kept up with the team. Didn't care much about the Bucs all this time. But I was still going for the Cowboys throughout this whole season, and even last season when things were in the dumps.

I guess I'll start paying attention to the Bucs more since they look promising, and also root heavily for whatever team Romo plays on. Houston or Denver?

I had half-package last season. I've moved all around the stadium from Club, to lower bowl sideline, several seasons endzone lower bowl between the uprights, and a 2-3 in the nosebleeds. Opponents are pretty high demand, so easy to unload if desired.

If Romo is traded to the Browns, you could adopt them.

Chicago was in town last year too and I managed to get great seats. Def plan to go this year too. With Bears signing Glennon (after finally dumping Cutler) it may be interesting game with two Buc QB's battling it out.

Hopefully Buc's will come out with a win again, but if Bears win it wouldn't upset me either.
