There have been a lot of threads about Parrish, so lets through this out there.. Does anyone know of CDD communities in Parrish? I was under the impression that there aren't any- but maybe Im wrong. Also, which is the best part of Parrish to live in to have access to I75. I know 301 runs pretty much straight through. My husband and I both work in West Bradenton but I may be moving my job to Sarasota...

Default CDD/Travel

FLGal,

I don't know which subdivisions have CDD fees off the top of my head, but I'm guessing not too many of the ones in Parrish have it. My reasoning is that they really didn't have to build so much infrastructure as Lakewood Ranch did.

As far as travel, you may want to look at areas behind the Outlet Mall. However, the traffic there is awful coming in and out. However, you will be right by the interstate exit. I live further north off 301 and Erie Road, but I get to downtown Sarasota in 40 minutes. I did hear a rumor that they will be putting in another exit from the interstate just for the Mall, but I can't verify that one.

Some of the areas back there include some townhouses as well as single family homes. There are also some apartments.

If I find out more about any CDD fees in Parrish, I'll post it ASAP.

Rylan Homes on Moccassin Wallow Rd had cdd's of around 1200 a year and high hoa's that equal 2200 for the yea just in fees. That's pretty much a new car. No thanks to the fee's and yes please to the new car.

Default Ryland Homes in Parrish

From a google search, it appears the subdivision is called Copperstone. It's off Moccassin Wallow just off I-75. If you do a search, it can get you to their web site. From what I can see, they do not mention anything about CDD fees.

Aberdeen, which is a Taylor Morrison Home is actually located in Ellenton which is very close to Parrish. There are no CDD fee's just an HOA fee. This community consists of 199 homesites and is about 75% complete. There are 11 different plans to choose from.

Default Ryland Homes

Here is the fee's from the sheet I have when I vivsited Ryland in Parrish.

CDD: $1201 annually and additional to you property taxes
HOA: $1125 annually
This is for the Copperstone community. I tried to keep a straight face when she mentioned the fees but it slipped. Hope this helps. There a lot of great communities over off of 301. If you want more specifics let me know.
