Hi Frndz,

We will be relocating to Tampa, Fl around end of August 2016. We are Indian Bengalis( Hindi, Bengali speaking) trying to find a good apartment with greater Indian population. My husband's work location is Citibank centre, Tampa. We have a 6+ year kid and looking for good elementary school with decent Asian population. Can anybody give us some suggestions regarding some good apartments and some elementary schools????

Also I have seen Macfarlene Park Elementary magnet school (IB Pattern) near northwest Tampa, do we find Indian community there?? If yes, can anybody suggest some good apartments where we can find decent Indian population around the said school.

Many Thx

The Tampa suburb of Brandon, FL has a large Indian population, not sure about the Bengali aspect though.

Lol @ Brandon.

Check out around the Carrollwood area. There's an Indian temple off of Nixon, Dr. K's mansion is being built off of Busch, and there are large areas where Indians congregate that Brandon could only dream of.

I really dislike Brandon.

OP, Indians are spread just about everywhere in the Tampa bay area.

In addition to the areas mentioned there are lots of Indians in the New Tampa area and in Wesley Chapel - and they are from just about every part of India and especially AP.

I can't comment on schools because our children are all well past school going age.
