RE: Title.....I meant to write on a new thread.......

In any case, always good to hear recognition for all of the tittle towns around us. Go Largo! make that road and neighborhood walkable!

I worked in that area back in 1995 thru 98 Nothing is as bad as my hood other than Town and country for a diff reason. Back when i worked over there i was living in Danashores and no place can beat Danashores.

The young in Pinellas term Largo as LArghetto, but its generally not too BAD, i think thats exaggerated, and its not bad, I lived in Brandon as well and it worse there as far as homeless, crime and feeling unsafe. I Lived also in Largo for years and the only thing its the best at is getting t-boned at one of the cities 165 traffic lights, no one can drive there, also largo is well known for its telemarketing scams! But the town does have a lot of activities for the elderly and tons of retirement communities and its close to the beach if you can find parking. The Fire-department as well as the police department is pretty good in Largo to. Quick Response times! But its totally unsafe for pedestrians and driving like i said that is terrible throughout mid-pinellas!

lived in Largo for 16 years - safe, close to beaches, high and dry, nice neighborhoods, (everywhere has their iffy parts) lots of cross county roads to get to bay bridges, sadly short on decent restaurants, but we can drive to a few nice ones within a few minutes, traffic is busy at times, but I dont find it that bad, this is an urban county after all, 12 mins to PIE and 25 to TPA
did I mention the beaches
