what public transportation?

honestly though, there isn't any. There is Uber and there are a few busses that run around although most of these are focused around the not so great areas of town. thats about all we have here. Unfortunately, people like to vote down any proposed transit systems due to some level of mental incompetence.

Ok, that may be a little harsh but they really do seem to vote down everything proposed, then they come up with some waste of time fairy to cross the bay that 3 other bridges already cross.

They don't exist here.

Closest thing to them would be the trolley (chuckle) and Hardline, the regional bus system.

There is no public transit in Tampa Bay area. No light rail. Are you sure you are in the right subforum?

Light rail/commuter lines are non-existent. A bus system does exist, but not one you would be able to rely on. Florida cities, especially Tampa, are very spread out. This isn't some mid-size city in the Midwest that is dense and you can get around on a bus. Uber always exists, but that will get expensive real quick.

Tampa and surrounding areas have a very rudimentary transit system, much more convenient to take the car.

As others have said, the bus system sucks, and it makes very little sense.
