I live in Valrico and it is a very family friendly area. The area that I live in has 3 'A' rated schools. Nelson Elementary, Mulrenann Middle and Durant High School. My kids attend all 3 and they are wonderful. It is very quiet but we are no far from all the city conveiniences. Ther is a beautiful mall in Brandon and the community as a whole is jsut he perfect place to raise a family!

I grew up in the Valrico area, lived there from 1986-2000. It's a pretty nice area. I remember there was hardly no crime and given it's proximity to Brandon/Tampa It's really pretty country. I went to Durant H.S. before moving away.

Valrico has grown up ALOT since 2000 though.

Smile Love Valrico

Hello! I live in Valrico. My family moved here 8 years ago. We had three young children at the time and loved the family oriented feel. My kids have also attended Durant, Mulrennan and Valrico Elem. LOVE all three of these schools. I actually spend a lot of time volunteering at all of them and love the administration. It is really a great place to live with everything you could want close by.
