If it's a nice car, don't mess around by looking for best price. $500 or so saved can cost you thousands in repairs and incalculable headache.

I'd highly recommend Intercity Lines, having used them personally and knowing several who also have.

Swimmom, that's wonderful. I wish you all the best in finding a home.

I will be shipping my car as well, so your question is of interest to me. We drove down, but hubby is very ill. I never expected this to,happen, so I will have to have our car shipped.

The suggestions on here are greatly appreciated by me as well. Thanks for asking. Now I don't have to. Lol

Well, it's not "my" city, but it's getting way too congested and our almost non-existent public transit sucks.

Marble I hope your hubby is ok....I might do the Uship...We used them when we shipped our furniture to my sister's in NY when we lived in Florida...but there are some good suggestions..

Where are you guys moving too?

Unfortunately this can be said about any City/towns that are seeing growth....It just is what it is...One just has to appreciate what it is it has to offer no matter where people move too...
