I've always thought stuff online that tells you salaries are usually wrong and the actual pay you make is lower.

Wish I could afford to do it, believe me. I'd love nothing more than to take my CPA license and throw it right straight in the trash can.

Combine accounting expertise with managerial, computer, or other expertise seems like you'd be highly marketable at a higher income. Are CPA becoming less in demand due to technological advances (computers doing the work that humans used to do)?

I don't know what it is. But basically, the pay sucks, i's hard to find a job. Not worth it.

And, half the job postings online are staffing agencies posting phony jobs that don't exist so they can fish for resumes, and they inflate the salaries.
