I`m gonna sell my Dodge Caravan 2016. I`ve already posted my AD in craiglist. Price is lowest (considering a year and mileage). Silence! Was trying to sell to dealer but they offered me a ridiculous price as well as 'onlyofflease' offered me.
So i wonder whether my car is illliquid or i i have to sell it somethere else?

Sold an older vehicle to Carmax several years ago. It was a pretty quick process. I think their offer is good for 5-7 days, so you can go home and think about it after the appraisal.

I think there's a couple in the TB area (Clearwater, Tampa).

how about nobody wants a used caravan, when they can buy a used Kia or Hyundai that still has a warranty left until 100k miles

Tampa Craiglist list 3 2016 dodge vans for sale, which one is yours?
https://tampa.craigslist.org/search/...e+Caravan+2016
I can deduce by the few vans available that a 2016 minivan isnt a popular vehicle.

Caravan isn`t popular? but i see lots of caravan on a street! And Kia Sedona (for instance) doesn`t have foldable 2nd row! It does make sense if you want to use your car for specific purposes!

First of all, no dealer is going to give you retail. Period. So get that idea out of your mind.

CarMax will give you wholesale value, if that. Note that they also pay you with a bank draft, meaning you don't get your money for 4-5 business days after the sale.

Craigslist is not the place to be selling a late model car. Unless it's something hot or unique, buyers are not looking on CL for a two year old crossover/minivan, whatever it is.

You might get lucky with a paid ad on someplace like AutoTrader, but I wouldn't hold my breath. What you've got is not in significant demand, and as a result you're going to have a tough time unloading it short of wholesaling it or trading it in on something else.

Just dump it off at Carmax. No need to deal with tire kickers.

Put a sign on it when you visit Walmart or Sav a Lot.

Ok i`m gonna visit Carmax. Anyway i`m quite confused - lots of caravans are being used as a taxi/work veichles so it`s supposed to be a good car for sale.
How do you think who can offer me better price - large car companies or small?
