Default Furnished Apartments in St. Petersburg Area?

Hello everyone.. I was wondering if anyone knows of any nice furnished apartments in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater/Tampa Area? I am planning to move out and live on my own for the first in my life and this is all new to me.

I would like to start with a furnished apartment for a shortest lease possible to see if I like and how I manage to do. I would hate to go all out and buy furniture only to have to go put it in storage while I move back in with mom & dad. I am very excited yet scared.

Thanks

Cool thrift shops

I'm guessing that even in a not so hot furnished place the difference between it and an unfurnished place is going to be more in just one month, than if you get an unfurnished place, go to thrift stores, garage sales and dumpster diving. NO, seriously on the dumpster . I just pulled a perfectly nice iron queen bed out of ours. Also a mirror for the BR and many other great things over the years. We're a lot older than you but CHEAP You don't need Ikea just out on your own the first time and not even sure if you won't be back with M&D. It is scary out there and there's no guarantee that even if you land a job, you'll have it in 6 mos. There are tons of cute unfurnished studios out there and you CAN find great furnishings if you do some leg work. Keep positive.

if you can wait till snowbird season is over, you might get a deal from an owner on VRBO.com, it gets slow for seasonal rentals and vacation rentals after April is done. You could pick up a six monthly at a decent price, if you negotiate with them to pay the utilities.
