Have you heard anything or ever passed by the following places that I have researched:

-
- Post Harbour Place - GREAT
- Post Hyde Park Apartments - GREAT
- Island Walk - GREAT
- Gaspar Properties - unknown

also look into craigslist.com and tbo.com for private condos and townhomes

If Tpaguy says they are good, believe him. I have found him to be very honest in his posts and opinions about the area. Says it like it is..

Thank you all for your help. Even the little comments help. Except the person who posted misleading neighborhoods. If you've ever passed by a nice complex given our criteria please feel free to volunteer its name.

Based on your original criteria, Madison at SoHo, built in 2001, might work for you. Also, a bit older, but very nice Mediterranean architecture, are the condos in Arrawana Park in Palma Ceia. I'd also suggest you include zip 33609 in your search as well.

What is Culbreath Key like? Is that a nice area? Would you recommend living there?

This was an apartment to condo conversion a few years ago. Sorry, I don't know anyone who lives there now to ask questions. But if you're commuting between downtown Tampa and downtown St. Petersburg, it's in a super location!

Try Westchase. They have apartments and townhomes there as well as the large golf course type homes. Very Stepford, if that is your thing.

I've spent hours researching Hyde Park, Channelside, Davis Islands and Harbour Island, areas I've chosen thanks to the help of people on the Citydata forum. When I view these apartments on Google maps I see other apartments complexes nearby. But the other complexes are not listed on any websites. I have another solicitation for help. If anyone knows the names of these apartment complexes please post them or better yet send me a PM. And for those who have done so already, thanks.

South Tampa[SOK] south of Kennedyand now [SOG ]South of Gandy are two areas for Yuppies. Hyde Park, and SOHO also and Seminole Hieghts and Sulphur Springs area is becoming Yuppified. Right now it is a buyers market for real estate. I just got a good bargain on a condo in thhe Gateway area of St Pete and I love that area myself after 20 years in South Tampa.
