Gunluvvr doesn't mention the mostly willing females in the baby making process and their lack of responsibility in accepting relationships where they have numerous children by low life men. After 1 time, its hard to believe it was a accident outside of a violent sexual attack. So I contend this won't solve the problem as you think at all. Not all low men are in prison or ever will be. If the woman has 4 kids with 4 different last names she won't have a problem finding a fifth new last name for a daddy. Plenty of women hooked on drugs, so should they get a similar offer to reduce their sentence if incarcerated?

I believe in my post I said voluntary vasectomy/tubal ligation. FYI a tubal ligation is the procedure where a Females Fallopian Tubes are cut or tied off to prevent conception.

You are right about too many Women having numerous children by different Men. However one child a year is all most Women can have vs a Man having the ability to father hundreds a year.

This is a totally separate issue than a Judge offering a reduced sentence for inmates to undergo a VOLUNTARY Vasectomy (or Tubal Ligation?). I offered this up wondering how one could be justified and the other could not.

A conclusion I have reached from my ten years of experiences in a Maximum Security prison: The Criminal element in our society (Males anyway) have very little concern about Fathering children and not supporting them. I overheard MANY conversations where inmates were boasting about how many kids they have on the outside.

Innocent children and our society are the VICTIMS in this not some Ahole that is a walking STD/sperm factory. Court ordered Vasectomies could be a useful tool in solving this problem.
Humm, anything stopping them from getting them reversed once out of jail?

We've all looked at a creep at one time or another and thought...please don't procreate. This poor judge probably deals with that type of creep day in day out. Who can blame him?
