My wife and I are considering a move to the Tampa area. I have been offered a tech job near Raymond James Stadium. I would like to be within 30 minutes commute to that area. Budget for a home will probably be in the $250K range. I know there are many historical neighborhoods but I would really like something with at least a 2 car garage and if possible, a pool.

Thoughts?

250K is going to be really tough. Maybe 350K. Unless youre looking for condos/townhomes.
You havent really given a lot of info in regards to kids and schools, type of home etc.

Look in Citrus Park, WestChase, Carrolwood, Keystone areas .Oldsmar. Maybe Lutz if you want more of a family environment.

It's possible in Carrollwood and parts of Lutz.

You can get a fixer upper in Danashores not on a canal for around 250k. Most homes are going for 350k and up.
