Bi-monthly seems excessive. No concern about the health hazards? Are there any?

the notion that you have to live with bugs in florida is 100% BS

if you live with bugs it's b/c you are too cheap to pay for pest control

if you HAVE pest control service and you are still seeing bugs, you need switch to another provider

pest control, whether natural or chemical, is REQUIRED in florida for 99% of homes (in order to keep bugs out of the home)

i have the right pest control company and i see bugs only OUTSIDE when i start digging around the yard planting flowers

We have tubes too, here when it was built. I find a dead bug every now and then, usually near the door.

When I first moved to Florida I was seriously freaked out but I realize they are just common here, like the lizards that also get in the house.

I have the bug guy in every 6 months. I'm a neat freak but they show up once in awhile. I probably need to bump up the visits. I was freaked out but no longer.

I love seeing lizards. Consider them my backup as they like insects, don't they?

Grew up around lizards in Hawaii. Geckos.

My concern too.

Check out what is going on with roundup that is freely being sold and many homeowner use. I don't use roundup but I did figure out a natural way of killing weeds through mix of vinegar, salt and some washing detergent. Otherwise, I just do the old school weeding by hand, exercise and much safer. I wouldn't want a company to come and spray the heck out of my place without really understanding the health implication of what they put. I doubt if any of these people actually look at the chemical that their house being rained on. Be careful what you allow to be spread in your home. Not seeing insect around anymore is one thing, you may not be around too after sometime, lol.

Just counted 15 lizards all sunning themselves on my pool screen, low tech/cost bug removal for sure.

They can enjoy themselves on the outside of my pool screen, not receptive to them in my house. Only had one sneak into the house so far and it was promptly return to nature.

Yes. Unless you were doing a major renovation it would have to be done when the house is built.
