Summergal - I've been digging into some of my beach and intercoastal shots and think I'll post a series. Keep an eye on Florida pics in the next few days.

Thanks for the info on zip 33770 I think Largo is going to improve in the next 5 years due to its location. If the city of Largo will do its part in promoting and changing the city.

I need to find the closest beach enterance from Largo.

Thanks..

BeHappy There are several access points to the beach along Gulf Blvd, the problem is more parking than anything else. The nearest or most convenient one depends on what bridge you use to cross the intercostals, Belleair Beach Causeway or Indian Rocks Causeway. Depending on where you settle in Largo one may be more convenient than the other.

As for the pics I’m glad you like them and hope they were helpful. I would be happy to post a pic of a specific location if I have it (if not I’ll try to get it next time I in the air).

In general I’m trying to keep my shots on the “FLORIDA PICs” thread so that they are available to everyone on one thread.

Best of Luck and Happy Holidays
Shores 9

PS agreed on Largo improvement

There are more people moving out of Pinellas County than moving into Pinellas county which might give you a hint as to what locals think of it. Our local new state there were over 16000 houses for sale in Pinellas county and only a little over 800 of them sold last month. The roads in Pinellas County are usually gridlock. The area is very crowded. Home prices are also high in comparison to some other areas. If you go up one county to Pasco County you'll have beaches, less traffic, lower taxes, access to major airports and highways, and save quite a bit of money.

Is this your opinion or do you have a valid source for this information?

No doubt its cheaper in Pasco (not by much) but don't you think there's a reason for that. And have you tried to get insurance in Pasco its near impossible excepting Citizens. Not to mention commute times if you’re going south to Tampa

There’s also a reason why there’s congestion and higher prices in Pinellas – that because there’s more demand and desire to live in these locations

Okay? What town in Pasco County do you think would be better than Largo?
